Burger assign their lease to Makars Gourmet Mash Bar on Shandwick Place, Edinburgh

Culverwell are delighted to have acted on behalf of Burger in assigning their lease to established local operator, Makars Gourmet Mash Bar. They have taken an assignment of the 1,800 sq ft restaurant with the lease due to expire in June 2024.

This is their second restaurant in Edinburgh City Centre, having already established themselves with their first restaurant on Bank Street in the Old Town.

James Murray commented, “This deal reinforces the fact that Edinburgh’s independent restaurant scene continues to thrive and Makars Gourmet Mash Bar are one of several new openings due later this year that include Chop House, Scran & Scallie, Nico Simeone and The Little Chart Room.
