Scotland's largest Superdrug store opens at Braehead

Superdrug opened its biggest store in Scotland on the 26th March at Braehead Shopping Centre.

Braehead, one of the UK’s most popular retail and leisure destinations, is owned by property company SGS and managed by Global Mutual.

The health and beauty retailer has relocated from its previous unit, upsizing to an 11,000 sq ft unit – which will be the brand’s largest in Scotland.

The larger store will stock products that weren’t previously available in their smaller store, including the Milani make-up range, Nail Inc. nail polish, a bigger choice of Rimmel products and YSL fragrances. Shoppers will also be able to buy popular health and beauty products that are currently trending on social media, like e.l.f cosmetics, Mielle Organics hair oil and the Monday Haircare range of products.

Nigel Duxbury, Property Director at Superdrug, said:  “We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our brand-new store in Braehead. We can’t wait for our local customers to visit – with a professional Beauty Studio, fragrance counter, exclusive brands and more, we’re confident that it’s going to be a hit.”

Andrew Britton, Culverwell, commented:  ”We are delighted to have acquired for Superdrug their largest ever store in Scotland and wish them every success.”
