Edinburgh Street Food Opens at OMNI

Edinburgh gourmands will be pleased to hear that a new street food market has opened in the city centre. Edinburgh Street Food has transformed 9,000 sq ft at the OMNI Centre into a feast not only for the stomach but eyes too. With 10 kitchens offering delights such as Bao buns, gourmet fried chicken, confit duck burgers, pizza, pasta, Mexican, Peruvian and Spanish dishes, along with three bars, there is something to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds and Instagram feeds seven days a week.

The line-up includes Junk (2023 UK & European Street Food winners), Bundits (Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Restaurant Awards 2022) and Antojitos (Scotland’s 2022 Street Food winners). Diners can enjoy their fare in the 250 seat outdoor ‘urban garden’ (rain cover and heaters provided!), as well as indoor seating.

Culverwell acted on behalf of the Landlord, Nuveen. James Godfrey, Partner at Culverwell said “Edinburgh is established at the forefront of the Scottish food scene with many new offerings wanting to launch in the city. Edinburgh Street Food is giving them the opportunity to reach diners in huge numbers at a more affordable cost than leasing a stand-alone unit. The wide choice of cuisine available and central location is already proving Edinburgh Street Food a success and from personal experience, I can highly recommend the duck burger!”
