Greggs Open City Centre Location with Outside Seating

Greggs have opened their newest location in Edinburgh’s city centre at 19 Castle Street, formerly occupied by Darnley’s Gin. The prominent corner location at the junction of Castle Street and Rose Street is one of 150 UK-wide stores Greggs plan to open in 2023.  

This is a prominent corner site extending to 2,000 sq ft over ground and basement floors. Greggs propose to have outside seating where customers will be able to enjoy views of Edinburgh Castle.

Culverwell acted on behalf of the Landlord, Wemyss Properties Limited and have agreed a new long lease. James Godfrey, Partner at Culverwell said “This is a cracking corner site that is ideal for Greggs and I have every confidence that this will be an extremely busy site and one with the best view!”
