Beer52 Pump Life into 8 Melville Crescent, Edinburgh

Beer52 and newly launched Wine52 is the monthly alcohol subscription service that delivers a selection of speciality beer/wine to your door. Founded by Fraser Doherty and James Brown in 2013 the Edinburgh based company was named as one of the fastest growing companies in Scotland in 2022. While the majority of hospitality suffered during the Covid-19 lockdowns, the nature of Beer52’s product has meant that they have thrived.

Culverwell were delighted to acquire 8 Melville Crescent on behalf of Beer52 in the summer of 2021.  The property, which was formerly occupied by the Scottish Salmon Company, has been given a new lease of life with designs from JA!COCO! Studio. 

This is by no means your typical Edwardian style townhouse, with millennial pink walls throughout, custom murals and even a gym, sauna and arcade for employees to enjoy.  A custom designed tasting room will play host to the thousands of wines and beers sampled annually.
