Rosa's Thai open first Scottish restaurant on Glasgow's West Nile Street

London Thai restaurant chain, Rosa’s Thai have opened their first Scottish location today on Glasgow’s West Nile Street. The former Cote unit has been repainted with an eye catching red frontage and will offer 84 covers for casual dining and eight outside seats, weather permitting! Diners will be able to enjoy signature fan favourites including fragrant red duck pineapple curry and stir-fried aubergine with sweet basil, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are also available. 

Rosa’s Thai started as a street stall at London’s Brick Lane Sunday market run by couple Saiphin and Alex, going to open their first premises in an old caff on Hanbury Street. Since then Rosa’s have opened multiple London locations as well as in cities including Bath, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and York. 

CEO Gavin Adair said: “I’m so happy to be opening in Glasgow. We’ve been wanting to come for such a long time, it was just a case of waiting for the perfect site, and we think this is it! We can’t wait to bring our amazing curries and noodles and stir-fries to the Glasgow scene, it looks like we’re going to be in great company.
